- I Am So Proud Of America! They tried to divide us as a nation. They attempted to make race an issue, and terrorists! They said he wanted to bring down the nation. They tried to paint the Democratic Party as communists,who would break into your homes in the dead of night to steal your guns and rip babies from their mother's bellies! It didn't work. Not this time. The crashing of the stock market was a rude awakening for middle class Americans,who appeared to be in a bit of a"coma"for a good part of King George's reign of terror. The Republicans ran a dirty campaign, focusing on divisive tactics. The campaign,in an attempt to smear President-elect Barack Obama,was their downfall. The Republican leadership rallied those of us who wished for the states to be UNITED,not the isolationist ideals pushed by their negative campaign. We could not allow our country to continue down the divisive and destructive path we've been on for the last nearly eight long years. America has made its' choice. Those of us who love our country and want the best future for the next generation, answered the call of President-elect Obama,for unity and the all important task of bringing this nation together.
